ICE2 organized a 2-day hands-on workshop on Graphic Design & Non – Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on 10th and 11th of December 2022 at NUST CEME Rawalpindi. The workshop was attended by different universities’ students and beginner level graphic designers.
An NFT is a non-fungible token and is considered a unique asset in the digital world. NFT art is a totally new way of categorizing digital artworks that enables designers to monetize their work. It’s supposed to be a quicker process and a more accessible way for designers to produce work and reap the rewards for their creativity. As a graphic designer, the NFT market allows you to express your creativity and own all your work completely. This is different from selling physical art at a gallery or in print. You can reach out to people anywhere and they can buy the piece and use it across digital mediums. If the marketplace or platform has the option, the designer can get a royalty on every copy that is sold.
